Report a concern
Universal Dating has zero tolerance for harassment, abuse, and harmful behaviour. If you or someone you know has experienced something that does not feel right, we want to hear about it.
What can you report?
You can report any behaviour that violates our Community Guidelines, including but not limited to:
- Harassment, threats, or intimidation
- Hate speech or discriminatory language
- Fake profiles or impersonation
- Scams, fraud, or requests for money
- Sexually explicit or inappropriate content
- Spam or commercial solicitation
- Underage users
- Any behaviour that makes you feel unsafe
How to report
Report within the app
The fastest way to report is through the app itself. On any user profile or in any conversation, tap the menu icon and select “Report.” Choose the reason that best describes the issue. You can add additional details if needed.
Email our safety team
If you prefer, or if the situation requires more detail, email us directly at info@universal-dating.com. Please include the username of the person involved, a description of what happened, and any relevant screenshots or evidence.
Block the user
While we review your report, you can immediately block the user to prevent further contact. Blocking is instant and anonymous — they will not be notified.
What happens next
Every report is reviewed by our dedicated safety team. Here is what you can expect:
- Acknowledgement: We confirm receipt of your report, typically within 24 hours.
- Investigation: Our team reviews the reported content, conversation history, and any evidence provided.
- Action: Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may issue a warning, temporarily restrict the account, or permanently ban the user.
- Follow-up: We will contact you if we need additional information. For privacy reasons, we may not be able to share specific details about actions taken against another user.
Our zero-tolerance policy
Universal Dating maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for:
- Physical threats or violence
- Sexual harassment or non-consensual sharing of intimate content
- Exploitation of any kind
- Hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
- Fraud, scams, or financial exploitation
- Any involvement of minors
Accounts found in violation of these policies are permanently banned without warning and may be reported to law enforcement authorities where appropriate.
Your safety comes first
Reporting is always confidential. The person you report will not know who filed the report. We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith.
