How do I create an account?
Visit our platform and sign up with your email address. You will be guided through creating your profile, adding photos, and setting your preferences. The process takes just a few minutes.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login page, click “Forgot password” and enter your email address. You will receive a link to reset your password. If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder or contact us.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from your settings page. Navigate to Settings and select “Delete account.” Your profile and personal data will be removed within 30 days. If you need help, email us at info@universal-dating.com.
Matching & connections
How does matching work?
Our matching algorithm considers your interests, preferences, location, and values to suggest compatible people. The more complete your profile, the better your matches will be. We prioritise meaningful compatibility over superficial criteria.
Why am I not getting matches?
Make sure your profile is complete with clear photos and a thoughtful bio. Check that your preferences are not too restrictive. Being active on the platform — logging in, updating your profile, and engaging with suggested matches — also helps you appear in more results.
Can I match with people from other countries?
Absolutely. Universal Dating connects people worldwide. You can adjust your location preferences to find matches in specific regions or open your search to the entire world. Love knows no borders.
Privacy & security
Is my data safe?
Yes. We use encryption, secure infrastructure, and strict access controls to protect your data. We comply with GDPR and never sell your personal information. Read our full privacy policy for details.
Who can see my profile?
Only registered users can view your profile. You can control your visibility settings, choose what information to display, and hide your profile temporarily at any time.
How do I request my data or exercise my GDPR rights?
Email info@universal-dating.com with your request. You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. We will respond within 30 days.
Reporting & safety
How do I report someone?
You can report any user directly from their profile or from a conversation using the report button. You can also email us at info@universal-dating.com. All reports are reviewed by our safety team. Learn more on our report page.
How do I block someone?
Visit the user’s profile and select the block option. Once blocked, they will no longer be able to see your profile, send you messages, or appear in your matches. Blocking is anonymous — the other person will not be notified.
What happens when I report someone?
Our safety team reviews every report. Depending on the severity, we may warn the user, restrict their account, or permanently ban them. We take all reports seriously and will follow up if we need additional information.
Billing & subscriptions
Is Universal Dating free?
Universal Dating offers a free tier that lets you create a profile, browse matches, and connect with others. Premium features are available through subscriptions or credit purchases for those who want an enhanced experience.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to your account settings and select your subscription to cancel. You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
